Villas Vallarta vs Puerto de Luna (pro's & con's)

I need help with deciding if I should stay at the Villas Vallarta (condos) or Puerto de Luna. Going down January 18th, was displaced because of Kenna. I was originally scheduled to stay at Las Glorias but they are rebuilding the timeshare units facing the water. I would like some information on either place to weigh the pros and cons. I am not going to be at the beach very often the water is cold anyway. Please let me know what you think of the places.

We stayed at Velas Vallarta two weeks after the Hurricane (Hotel unit) as we were displaced from our time share. It was really nice, lovely pools and grounds. The beach was not great, nobody used it. The two restaurants were good. We had our granddaughters with us (13 and 11) and we had lots of fun. Still able to get a bus or cab into town. No complaints.
