First timer couple and two teens considering staying here in a couple of months. Location in Ollas Atlas sounds like our kind of place. Any feedback ? Nearby restaurants ? Just discovered the board and imagine all my questions will be answered after a few weeks of reading. Thanks

The location (north Playa Los Muertos just south of the pedestrian bridge) and proximity to restaurants, bars, shopping and downtown is excellent. We have stayed there several times over the past three years, and are looking forward to being there again in May. Most units are 2 bed/2 bath, full kitchen, dining and living room, about 1500 sq ft.
Now this is a pretty quiet condo complex, mostly forty something and up. I have seldom seen teens there, and wonder if yours would get bored not having others their age to hang around the pool with. You might want to consider one of the beach front hotels like Playa Los Arcos, where there would be activities with others around their age. I am not at all trying to scare you away from VDS, I highly recommend the place, just want the whole family to have fun.

Yes VDS is on the beach, but check the condo listing to see if it is \"ocean front\" or \"ocean view\". Ocean view are units on the north and south side of the building, ocean front are on the west side facing the bay.
