The VPdO is a nice resort and it right next to the Crown Paradise. I think the cost difference between the two is only about $100usd p/p for a 7 night stay, the CP being the more expensive. Although there are few things to consider about these 2. The guests at the CP can use all the facilities of both resorts but the guests at the VPdO cannot use any of the facilities at the CP. The food at the CP is all ala cart (no buffets) so if you really need a buffet you can go next door and do that, the VPdO has mostly buffets and once again guests cannot go to the Crown to eat at the 3 great resturants there. The CP is an adults only, whereas your other option is full of kids. I think for overall value the CP is the better choice, but if you really are \"cheap\" go with the VPdo it really is a nice resort.
