For what it is worth, I have never been to Viva Vallarta but my apple vacation book rates it a 5 star. That is in the ballpark with Paradise Village, Grand Club Marival and some other really nice hotels. You are in the Punta Mita area and those are some of the nicest beach areas around. If by some chance, your beach at hotel is small or etc., the public beaches out there are great, restaurants, good lounging chairs, waiters to serve you,etc.The pictures of it look fine. Go to suntrips.com website, you can bring up lots of info on hotels, pictures of beach, pool, room, etc. Wherever you end up down there, it is paradise and you will have a wonderful vacation. So put a smiley on your message board....
