volleyball at crown paradise?

Will be taking my daughter to PV for her high school graduation present (darn I have to go too). She loves to play volleyball and I wanted to know if the golden crown paradise would be a good place for us to stay. I have seen the pictures of the net in the pool but does it get used? We will be there the end of June for a week. Maybe suggestions for other places to stay if not at the crown paradise.

Well Ken, the net gets used at the Golden Crown Paradise for water volley ball and tequila volley ball.. now you have to remember in water volleyball the rules are you can hit as many times as you want.. as you cannot jump, dive, dig, for the ball very fast in the water... now they do get games up for beach volleyball and play progressive running score volleyball and play by the normal rules... now if you want her to just be there for volleyball you are at the wrong place.. if you are there to reward her for her accomplishments of graduating from high school, sending her off on a good note to College, and to RELAX from all the books and schedules... then you are staying at the right place.... This is a fabulous resort... and you are so close to down town where you can see the sites and have a great time with the people and culture of Vallarta... you have all menu dining, no buffets, you have 24 hr room service, you have so much you can do and not do... you are close to just about anything and everything ..... now is this just going to be you and your daughter or are you going to make this a family thing.... cause if you have younger siblings then stay next door at the Crown Paradise club and take the whole family on a wonderful vacation... but if it is going to be an \"adults\" family outing 18 yrs and older... you are coming to the right house ...

Will see you there. The water volleyball and tequila volleybball happen to be the only \"sports\" I can play. The rules are loose and the games are really fun. If your daughter wants a real game she can join in the beach version, but that is much too tough for an old geezer like me. BTW we took our son to the GPC after his grad. and he loved the place. There is a good mix of ages and your daughter can find lots of people her age on the beach or next door at the CPC. I think you made a good choice.

sounds like a plan.... Ken you and your daughter will have a great time down there... Vallarta is such a wonderful city... and so friendly too.... and i am sure that Chuck and Kaye will take you under their wing and show you the sightes too.... looks like we a new member to the GCP family.....
