wanted - travel suggestions

I was fortunate enough to holiday in PV in 2000, staying at Velas Vallarta. I would like to holiday in PV this year. However, travelling from London involves several connecting flights in the US and is consequently very tiring. Does anyone, particularly any British travellers who may log on to this website, have any ideas regarding a price friendly way of travelling to PV? Are any hotels in particular recommended other than Velas Vallarta?

 Have you considered flying direct to Canada (Toronto for example) and then flying a Charter from Toronto directly to PV? You could even fly with zoom airlines or Air Transat (7 hour flight direct) to Calgary and then a charter from Calgary to PVR (Air Transat or Skyservice) (4 1/2 hours)? That may be an option you may want to consider.
