We have decided on the Golden Crown...

After reading all the wonderful things about GC here and on other sites, my fiancee and I have decided to spend our honeymoon there (june 12-18). I am overwhelmed, though, by the amount of websites offering bookings. Where are some good places to look for booking? We want to book airline and hotel, and would prefer a honeymoon suite or at least something ocean front. Thanks for your help and all the reviews and info.

my distinguished collegue is correct here. I am guessing by the \"tenn_vol\" that you are either from the state of Tennesse or you are T-Vol supporter. MLT and Funjet are two of the best charters out of the St. Louis or Chicago area that have direct flights to and from PVR, and also carry the GCP on there listings. you can go to either of their websites to start checking rates and flight schedules etc to get you there. if you have any other questions about the resort, rooms, food/beverages, etc. you can contact either myself or Senor Chuck via PM here on this BB... we will be more the happy to answer your questions....

congrats on the prenups, and the upcoming honeymoon....

Thanks for the replies guys. I am from Tennessee and hope to fly from Tri_Cities Airport (TRI).
No, really, well a I just like to promote Mexico as a vacation spot, especially PV. We are just really lucky that STL is a big discounted city for PV vacations. :D
Agree, PV and or Riviera Maya are biggest bang for your buck.
We just returned from there 2 days ago and I absolutely do not think you will be disappointed! I miss it already.
Well Chuck, looks like we found a \"new\" repeater to join the GCP club. What do you think. I know Redd and her mom were very pleased with the resort as well... got to love it when you see comments like that...  8)
Tenn_vol... need you to get ahold of me as soon as you can... i am wondering your status on your reservations for your honeymoon to our house at the GCP. I may have a some options for you unless you have things in order...

tom
Tenn-vol, expedia has flight and hotel at GCP for the dates you want if you want to pay that much. Not sure if you will find it much cheaper being this close to your departure date . Best of luck in your search.
if we could get those discounts here in Iowa, it would be fantastic, but we have to go to Chicago (ORD), Kansas City (KCI) or Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP) to get those rates, and then it is anywhere from a 4 - 5 hr drive in good weather, plus minimum $100/night for a motel stay etc... someday we will have that good life like chuck here in Iowa... someday... this is the field of dreams you know...  8)
i know what you mean, i think i spend just about as much time out here as i do at my job... YIKES... oh well... mexico.. mexico....

  8)
oops
Forgot to add, that was for two people.
Tom, Do you book direct with GCP when you are there for your next visit (February) or use a travel agent? We also, the last 8 times either reserve 1703 or 1502, just wondering if prices are better dong it direct with them while we are there.

I dropped you a PM on this, and i will also send you an e-mail from my Yahoo account with some e-mail addresses for you to check with the resort on this.
