We stayed at the Westin two years ago and loved it. We are planning our trip for late July and are planning on staying there again, although I have considered the Marriott this time because their rates are less - I would love some opinions on the Marriott. Just keep in mind that it is a Westin so food and drink prices are expensive. We walked into the Marina each morning for breakfast (Mr. Cream) and bought beer at the little store across the street from the hotel. The pools are fantastic and the rooms are very nice. I have never been to PV during the Summer so I too, am a little worried about rain. It is such an awesome place, even with rain you will have a great time!
