Westin? Seirra Nuevo - ok

Any news of the Westin? Central Westin reservations reported earlier today that windows were blown out and the electricity and phones are still out. Can anyone confirm this?

I spoke with staff at the Seirra Nuevo today. They said the resort is open, and it experienced minor damage.

Well, I would guess that if you spoke to the staff, unless it was via ESP, that the phones are indeed open.

Maybe my message was not clear. I spoke to the staff at the Seirra Nuevo. Nobody answered the phones at the PV Westin. The 800 number for Westin reservations, which is not in PV, gave me the report of blown out windows, no phone, or electricity. I have read elsewhere that the marina area suffered minor damage. I would like to know if anyone has factual information on the Westin.

Thanks pt. I called the Westin phone number from the PV Westin web site (instead of the number on my RCI confirmation) and did get through. I really appreciate your posts here and on the All Vallarta site. We plan to arrive as scheduled, despite what RCI is currently recommending.
