Hotel Alegre or Hotel Marsol might do you fine. Old Town, 15 min walk to the Malecon, right in the heart of food and shopping too.

hi folks,
i have been to pvr many times, one of the best hotels i have stayed in is the holiday inn,they have all-inclusive if yoou want but you do not have to. my mother inlaw has stayed ther to she found it great . she even went on here own , found many people her own age , and had a great time. unfortunatly it is about a 20-25 min walk to downtown, but there is a bus at the end of the drivway very cheap to use, or you can get a cab right out side the hotel lobby. this will cost you about $3.00 cdn. if you are looking to relax and be looked after i recomend the holiday inn...
