what star is villa del mar 1-5

We were told by interval international villa del mar resort was a 4 star resort, is it true are they BS me ?

5 star, Palmar has always been 5 star, del mar was a 4 star, only because they had no elevator, a requirement for a 5 star rating. Now that they have put in an elevator they are also 5 star status.
