Which hotel should I choose!?

Hi! My boyfriend and I are visiting PV in mid May and are trying to decide between two hotels. I have been looking at the Qualton Club and Spa and also the Royal Decameron Costa Flamingos. I know that the Royal is further away from downtown PV, I am just concerned with food, drinks and cleanliness. We are trying to keep things under $1000 per person for all inclusive. Any tips!? Please help! Thank you!!!!

when in May are you going? I am taking my girlfriend to the Royal Decameron in May too, we will be there from May 22 to the 29th.
