Which One???

You might want to consider the Tropicana. Just a little ways south of Los Arcos. Stayed ther in March and am returning again in 3 weeks. Simple hotel, clean, good service, great location and great views of the bay. Also may be a little less expensive then those that you mentioned.

trop[icana is great not 5 star , gayfriendly (lots of my friend love the place) many good restaurant around ollas altas , verrry great for poeple what love GOOD FOOD!!!

Oh yeah, just remembered. Stayed at the Premier, which is right next door to the Buenaventura. Premier clients are allowed the use of Buenaventura facilities but not vice versa. Premier is adults only, and the rooms are all ocean view, and extremely clean. the Hotel is only 5 years old.. At the BV there are a great many children, ant it is sometimes difficult to get ocean view. most rooms are garden and pool view, and can be a bit noisy during the day. I am not trying to sell you on the Premier, only give you my opinion. Of all the properties I have stayed in in PV Premier is the best. You can get room only there and still be close enough to the Zona Romantica restaurants. If I had not recently found a beach front condo to rent, I would spend my time at the Premier.

my wife and i stayed at buenaventura memorial day weekend for 6 nights,they had booked over 300 young kids for soccer tournaments ;they finally left after 4 of our 6 nights,,some rooms als musty----we will not return........have been 5 or 6 times to playa los arcos,,,,if they show you a musty room ask to see a few rooms when you check in and you should find one that isnt so musty,,,this time of year with daily rain and high humidity, youll have to run the ac to get the humidity out of the rooms----however some rooms are always better than others....good luck ....i have been to pv over 100 trips ....i am hooked.....los arcos is one of my favorites....
