We spent a week at the Marival a couple years ago - nice place, long beach, for the most part very good food and drinks.
Cheaper (and you get what you pay for) is the Royal Decameron - a 3.5 star resort on the same type of beach but within walking distance of Bucerias - nice small Mexican beach-front town with tourist souvenir stalls, town square and nice restaurants and bars overlooking the bay.
The Rius strike me as being more \"frou-frou\" (contrived, pompous, but pretty), with higher density beaches, and they get mixed reviews (some quite good) - they (like the Decameron) have excellent sale prices from time to time.
