wildcat strike

can anybody verify if there is somekind of strike at some resorts in pv right now. i was just checking out the fodors, latin america site, and it seems to be just a rumor at this point but its mentioned that las palmas (where im booked dec 24) has had food sabotaged and people got sick and staff refusing to work!

Was able to contact someone at the Las Palmas this A.M. who says this is a rumour. Claims everything is running as usual.
