total jealousy here in vancouver. Have you been to this resort before? It is on a really great beach. PVR is such a great city. We have also stayed at the Paradise village and the Sheraton. We cruised to PVR last year. We will be going back next Nov.

WOOOOOHOOOOO 5 more days till 2 weeks in paradise!

No we have not stayed here before, but are looking forward to it.
This will be our 5th trip to PV in 10 years and are trying something different.
Just worried that we may be somewhat dissapointed in the distance to town, but what the heck.

Stayed in Nuevo last year at Solare and had a great time. Went to Bucerias for an afternoon and saw RDC. Looked like a great place.

how lucky for you...5 more days. We will be leaving on the 16th of Jan for the Decameron...it is our first time at this resort but have been to PV 4 times in the past 8 yrs............if you get a chance maybe leave a note here while your there letting us know what building is the best to stay in there....Enjoy and save some sun for us!

we are leaving on the 19th for a week at the royal. have stayed at the allegro in nuevo before, how much further north is the allegro? also. what are some good tours to take from there and from whom should we buy them? thanks. eddie

bj bellinger....sorry...just read my post....where the royal dominican came from..?????I meant to say the ROyal Decameron...must have been thinking of our vacation 2 yrs ago to the Domincan....ooooooooooops...lors

The Allegro is a fair distance further south than the Royal Decameron. The RD is right on the edge of the town of Bucerias, whereas the Allegro is almost in the centre of Nuevo Vallarta.

Wow i cant wait till im 10 days away well have an incredible experience when you get there and post about it when you get back have a helluva good time.

Well.....we are back and ready to go into detox now!!!!

A quick note however.... the resort is excellent. The food is fantastic, the rooms are basic but clean. The facilities are great in the sense that there are bars and washrooms everywhere.

The disco was empty, but open till 3 AM everynight, and believe me......we shut it down every night for the entire two weeks we were there.
