My friend and I are coming down to PV at the end of February for a sort of girls-week-out to celebrate our turning the big 3-0. We like to party and have a good time, maybe even tie one on and get a little crazy every now and then. However, not really into the spring break/girls gone wild scene. It’s pretty safe to say the foam party is not going to be on our agenda. Also like a laid back casual place where we can just sit and talk and maybe meet some locals or other travelers with out a horrible meat market feel. Any suggestions for a more grown-up party place? Mucho Gracias!
Grown up party place?

Cuates y Cuetes also has a nice \"grownup\" atmosphere. Latin jazz combo plays live some nights as well...sunset view, good food, cheap cold drinks. On Playa Los Muertos, right beside the pier.

Re:Grown up party place?
First thing, girls, you should maybe read the \"Rules of the Bulletin Board and Netiquette\" and then maybe STOP USING CAPITALS. Take care and have fun. Chuck
Re:Grown up party place?
no need to yell girls.
you can try the sheraton. i tis nice and close to the downtown area. i believe it is all nice and fixed up after the hurricane.. the Buenaventura is downtown also. there are many more close downtown. Hotels in the marina area are only a 5 minute bus ride to the downtown area. if you go out to nuevo, it is at least a 35 minute bus ride. the buses are always alot of fun. Go to the puerto vallarta hotels thread and you will find many, many write ups on all the diff. hotels in p.v. the other members who are addicted to this site, are very knowledgable about all aspects of p.v. good luck girls. we will be going to p.v. also in Feb, 2005
