For the older (like over 40) crowd I would suggest that you consider Chez Elena at the Hotel Los Cuatro Vientos at Matamoras 520. Excellent food, always a band & dancing plus a great spot high in the hills so perfect for watching the fireworks. No crowds to fight & Gloria will call you cab at the end of the evening.
