Belmar Hotel

Stayed at the Belmar for a week in July. Great place!! Located 4 Blks. from the beach in the Romantic Zone, it was clean, cold (A/C was $6 and worth it!), friendly, and reasonable ($45 a night, inc. A/C and tax). Simple place, but you felt like you were in Mexico.
I have stayed in 5 star hotels like the Fiesta Americana and J.W. Marriot. Never Again.

Value is good . What you underestimate is the satisfaction /pleasure we once a yearers get from seeing the ocean . Just watching/hearing the waves break on shore is something we love. The chance to see a Dolphin swim and play off shore is priceless . Eating and watching the harbour wake up - we make yearly memories of this . I appreciate your choice of hotels but give me oceanside anyday . :)

That is the good thing about PV - all the options - for any kind of budget . :)
