Canto Del Sol day 4 & 5
Day 4 & 5 Canto Del Sol

Day 4

Today was another beautiful day in PV. The weather has been perfect, a little hot but I’m not complaining. We got 5 free tickets to the canopy tour for doing the timeshare presentation. Well at least thats what we were promised. Yes we got jipped! Blanca from Canto Del Sol promised us the Canopy tour/Zip Line, what we got was the Tropical City Tour. Husband and I thought it was OK but the kids were totally bored. So we got off the tour bus downtown and never got back on. Caught a bus back to the hotel. Needless to say Blanca got an earful when my husband found her. :x  Of course she denied ever promising us the Canopy tour. Made a beeline to the bar and pool. We played volleyball in the pool. They had a few contests that were fun. Jerry was the activities director today, he was really cool! They had a mixology class right by the pool. They gave my husband a few shots to try...he said it was really hot. Not sure what was in it but he got a little tipsy after that. We went to the Mexican restaurant for dinner. It was good. The service you get is fantastic. More flaming coffee yum yum! Didn’t do much the rest of the evening, went to the pool. Just relaxed and enjoyed this wonderful place.

Day 5

Today we ate breakfast at the buffet. It was good. More swimming and eating and drinking. The snack bar had really good burgers, nachos, cheese fries, tacos. My kids loved it! Did the catamaran again with Manny. Went shopping across the street from the hotel. Got some really good deals on t-shirts. I figured you would pay more by the hotel but I think it was cheaper than downtown. We got ice cream at Gelato’s. The cones were a little stale but the ice cream was good. We went to the Mexican show tonight WOW! It was a really good show. Even my kids liked it. The room was packed. Walked down to the beach after the show. Yes I was getting a little depressed that we were leaving tomorrow. I was trying not to think about it. 5 days just isn’t long enough!!!

Glad you had a great time. Mexibeach is right, even two weeks seems short. But if I had to choose between 1 week or nothing - I would still choose the week. Was Jerry still there? Were they still doing the yoga by the pool? I loved that, it was one of my favourite activities they offered. How full was the hotel? Was the International restaurant still being offered as part of the a la carte choice or was it just the Mexican and Italian?
