hi we went from jan17 to jan24.
this was my husbands first time and my first in 22yrs.
thanks to this sight we knew exactly what to do at the airport with the ts people and got a taxi and were at our hotel within 15mins. Our hotel gave us a room on the ocean with a balcony very nice.the room was very basic and clean which is what we wanted. staff was very nice expecially rogelio who did our bookings for our adventures.
our first day we went for a walk down the malecon and ended up in the romantic zone where we were stopped by the manager of lazy lizard and he told us he had the cheapest beer in town which turned out to be true. 55pesos for a bucket of 5 so needless to say we went there allmost every day for a couple of buckets and a meal which was very good and we sat on the beach under there huts beautiful to say the least.
Well we booked me to sawim with the dolphins which was a dream come true for me and a experience i will never ever forget.
we also did the pirate cruise one evening which was alot of fun good food great show and drinks.
we booked a day trip to los arcos,las animas,quimixto. well what a day good food open bar tyler went snorkeling i chickened out. and then the waterfall we cheaped out and decided to hike it there and not take the horses well let me tell you half way there we were sticking out our thumbs trying to hitchhike lol but it was all worth it. upon getting back on the boat sarape jose one of the crew taught me to say hola me llama michelle mucho gusto jose very nice man. they did a raffle we bought tickets because the money goes to orphanges. I just happen to win a bottle of vodka shirt senor frogs passes and a free cruise with there company. wow.
we got back to our hotel and rogelio was there and so happy for our win so we booked the islas marietas piedra blanca day trip. for two days from then. when we arrived at the marina tyler heard hola michelle and i turned and there was jose who gave me a hand shake and a mucho gusto incredible he would even remember me.
this cruise was on princesa vallarta. we saw lots of whale and dolphins tyler did more snorkeling and we laid on the beautiful beach for the day. they had a contest to tell them who the artist was of a song(bette davis eyes) i got it right and won. another cruise but we were leaving the next day but there good for a year.
when we got back to our hotel there was rogelio know i call him our bud and we decided to give him the free cruise to use or whatever he wanted.
we also took in a bullfight(not for the weak stomach) but we went and man we were so overwhelmed with pride that take in this sport at one point the bull jumped over the protection board and clipped one of the men ( not the matador) across the eye the look on my face must have been shear terror because a local sitting next to me said its ok hell be ok.
and of course you have to have a group who kinda spoil it there were some ppl there behind us kinda being jerks.
Most of our evenings were spent on the malecon enjoying the local artists and music we love arcano and bought all there cds. very talented.
we went to senor frogs on my insistence and my meaql was great but tyler didnt much care for his which is odd cause im the picky one lol. it was also more for the younger there.
