We just returned from our first trip to Puerto Vallarta (our first trip out of the states to) and have to say we had a very, very great time there.
We did not know anything about the area before we got there (probably not real bright but did not do any research on the web before going), did not speak spanish, knew no one there, did not know what to expect at all. But after our first day became pretty comfortable with the place and people, who are just terrific down there. We made tons of friends, ate lots of great food, sailed the bay, spent lots of time in in Old Town, did some fishing. Overall just had a good time.
Already trying to figure how and when we can go back (if we go somewhere else I think it could be hard to beat the experience we had in Puerto Vallarta, so will do that again first).
:D :D :D
