thanks for the info. we are taking our first trip to pv in early november. we have heard nothing but good about paradise. yours is the first giving a different look at things. can you tell me, is the maintenence you speak about things that will most likely be done soon, or do they look like this will ongoing. as far as the staff goes, do you think the bigger the tip the better the service? if you can think of any other tips please share. thanks

Sorry to hear of your disappointment with the Paradise Village staff...I own a timeshare there, and have been 6 or 7 times and have never had a problem, although I have not been this late in the year. I will be there the week of November 22-29 and I will mention the problems associated with your trip and I will check out the maintenance work and see if that is still going on...I would say that they do probably do maintenance and upkeep during the late summer months and early fall as the high season starts November thru March. I just wish your experience was as enjoyable as mine always is...

 I just emailed the customer service area and asked about maintenance. She said they have completed work on the pool and the spa is reopened and all maintenance work would be completed before November.

thanks tag for the update. thats def good to know. we have just heard such good things about the resort that info came as a surprise. thanks for taking the time to email. we are def looking forward to our upcoming trip.

 There is some construction going on on the other side of the tennis court which is suppose to be done the end of November. When you check in, ask not to be put in a room on the marina side next to the entrance as that would be the closest to the tennis court area. I would be anxious to hear how your trip goes too, so let me know!
