great place lowboy, nice reviewsorry for such short review some how it didnt take ill submit a little laterthe grand&club marival was awsome. 3 other couples loved it.food, grounds, staff. everything was great except for the inhouse time share people. after our 1st day the other 3 couples already planning a second trip. i am a newbie to the website but not to pv. my mother being mexican and living 8 hours north, we have visited since grade school and im now 36yrs young. im no avid historian or expert on pv, i just know its where i belong. after hour first full day we all went to town. short cab ride. we started at the begining of the malecon at the rosita hotel and spent all day working our way south to los muertos beach for some tastee shrimp and fish on a stick.I always ask for the fish on a stick and after he hands it to me then i ask for a corn tortilla. fish tacos are the best. we worked our way to andales then i recomended le bistro jazz cafe.. awsome food ,but only go at night when its all candel lit tables...totally awsome. the next few days were spent enjoying the hospitality of the resort. we booked a booze cruise that was so and so. avoid the booze cruise called the carnival..very sloooooooow boat.. almost 12 hrs long and the bathrooms below were in terrible condition. made our eyes water..not good. having driven in pv before my wife and i decided to rent a jeep for the whole day. one other couple decide to join us and away we went. We started at el edens restauraunt for some pineapple drinks then off to chinos and chicos paridise. then i took the bypass around town and back up past nuevo vallarta. we stopped at a rest. called disteladeras. that was near the town of cruz de haunacaxtle. that is a must see...the beach and the rest. was outstanding. then back down to bucerias for some light shopping, and called it a day. the whole trip was great..wife and i are planning to renew our wedding vows in pv winter of 2007. but want to stay all inclusive in town or la jolla de mimaloya. i remember when there was no resort there, just the river going to the ocean. or maybe dreams vallarta..open for any advice. thank you for reading and take care.
