WILL BE STAYING AT THE MAYAN PALACE IN NUEVO IN APRIL. CAN YOU COMMENT ON WHERE YOU HAVE TO GO TO CATCH THE BUSES. ALSO ARE THERE ANY GOOD PLACES TO EAT SEMI CLOSE TO THE RESORT. WOULD YOU RECOMEND BUCURIAS OR PUNTA DA MINTA . IS THERE A GROCERY STORE TO PICK UP SUPPLIES TO COOK BREAKFAST AT THE RESORT. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP
Re:Returned from PV the 14th
Thank you for your trip report. We are going to the Mayan Palace in Nuevo during spring break. The last time we stayed there was 5 years ago. I can see that it is even better now. We love P.V. This will be our fourth time in Mexico (third to P.V.). Did you go on any tours? We are going to do the Yelapa tour. How were the prices on food and drinks at the Mayan Palace N.V.? Are there shows at the resort every night? I am looking so forward to going after reading your report.
Re:Returned from PV the 14th
There is a Mexican Fiesta on Thursday evenings. Food, drink, wonderful entertainment and fireworks to close the evening.
The prices for food and drink at the Mayan are comparable to most of the 5 star hotels and are, of course, more expensive than eating in PV.
We did not take any tours this time around but there are some very good tours available. The boards are a wealth of information on tours and almost any subject you can think of will be covered there.
Enjoy your trip! Be sure to post a report when you return!

Did you happen to notice if the Mayan Palace had a kids club?
