Last year(2006) the officals at the airport checked my bags on the out atPV airport. I has securly placed the breakable items in my checked in bag. They move them to my other checked in bag. When i got home one of them was broken. My suggestion is to pack them your carry-on.

I leave tommrow

all the bottles are not full. I do have an occassional tequila tasting party.keep in mind if you buy at the duty free they will hand it to you after you pass security, but if you have a connecting flight, they will confiscate the bottles at the connecting airport.
We came back the end of Feb this year, on a direct flight to Toronto. We took 1 litre bottles from the hotel and took them in our carry ons and they let us take them on board.
bottles/anything
we just got back from Pv on April 7th. And at security right before boarding the plane, they took anything that was liquid from you, also were checking carry-ons. They had a pile of stuff that was liquid by them. I was flying to Dallas, and then on to Indiana.
Transfers to Royal Decameron hotel

We just got back. Watching the process it soon became clear what was happening. Flights to the United States were screened for liquids, etc. and flights to Canada were not.

The security people set up tables and go through the bags of those who are flying to the U.S. We have been able to take water on flights from Canada for some time now, as long as they are not stopping in the United States.

Of course, when we asked a uniformed security person about our water we were told that we could not take it through the initial security check. Good business for the retailers after that point!
I just return Saturday on a direct flight to Canada and just for fun I had all different types of liquids and a couple of lighters in my carry on just to see what would happen. Well, you want to know what happened... nada, nothing. They screened my bags, which I had 4 of, and 3 of them had liquids in. All my liquids made it thru security and on the plane. :? :P :D
Blame Canada!
