Just wondering if anyone has any info about getting from the airport to hotels. Is there any shuttles or is it taxi only.

Re:airport transportation
We have not arrived in Mexico yet but the research I have done suggest that you have two options for transportation getting from the airport to Hotel. You can take one of the airport taxis which you will find outside to your left after you go through the red light/green light customs excersice (watch out for the time sharks on your right). Or apparently you can walk a little further (over some sort of bridge) and there you will find the yellow taxis... that apparently have a better rate. I have read that you need to make sure you agree on the fare with the driver before you get in the taxi.
Re:airport transportation
Another note on the taxi situation. Yes, the yellow taxies are cheaper, but if you have a lot of luggage, do you really want to carry everything and walk around in the heat to save a few bucks? The good news is that on the way back, the taxies from the hotels are the yellow ones... which cost less.

If you want to save money, take the time to get your money exhanged at the airport. The rates are much better than the hotels or money exchanges around town.

Stay away from the people in the airport who say they will get a taxi for you, or who tell you they have \"information.\" They are all timeshare sharks! Make your way all the way to the front doors of the airport and take a right. They have small cars of big vans depending how many are in your party.

WITH ALL TAXIES IN PV, THE RATE IS BY THE DISTANCE, NOT BY THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE!
