Alaska Air Direct From Portland, OR to PV

Alaska Air now has direct non-stop flights to/from PDX to PV on selected dates. I just changed my December reservation and now leave at 9:25 AM and arrive 3:45 PM and leave 4:30 PM and arrive 7:13 PM (if on time) of course.
Very nice since it saves several hours changing planes plus getting confused going through customs at airports such as Phoenix. Kudos to AK Air!

Have now flown to PV 3 times all with Alaska Air. Funny how our flights are ontime in bound but have ALL been 2-3 hours late departing. Would not be so bad but an extra 3 hours in the Airport in NOT my idea of fun. We are going to try United Air :? this time.

Kathy and I have flown Alaska from Portland to PV and back 11 times. Never had a delay or any other problem. Nothing but highest of regards to Alaska. Chuck... 8)
ditto, Alaska is our airline of choice and no delays.
Good flight times on Alaska Airlines. Personally, I would prefer to depart PDX about an hour earlier, so I could check-in and spend a few minutes in the pool before dinner. Return flight times are ideal.
Alaska Direct to PV
Okay, I just got back from a direct (no stops) Alaska flight to PV and direct (no stops) from PV to PDX. The flight south left exactly on time and we arrived 10 minutes early in PV.
The return flight from PV was late due to passengers who were late and missed the previous buses from the terminal to the plane on the tarmac.
We arrived in PDX around 10 minutes late but the weather was terrible with 50mph winds and the plane did some bouncing around. When the plane landed, most of the passengers (including myself) cheered and clapped their hands.
My hat, and I normally I ware a cap, if off to the fine crews of AS Air!
