Bus to Mazatlan

Hello Everyone.... thank you for helping me here...

I know that this topic has been brought up in the past, but I was hoping for some more current information.

I want to find information on bus travel from PV to Mazatlan (departure times, fares, enroute times), but I am having little luck. I am using all of the main search engines and I have found basically nothing on the matter.

Could someone please fill me in on some options?

There is no direct service.
You will first have to go to Tepic and then to Maz.

From PV to Tepic use Primera Plus http://www.primeraplus.com.mx
From Tepic to Maz use TAP http://www.tap.com.mx

Hope Spanish is not a problem because both websites are in it.

Is it safe to say that there are busses running continuously throughout the day? I can basically show up at the PV airport and within a reasonable amount of time, make it on a bus to Tepic and then Maz? Will roundtrip be about 6-7 hours?

Another quick related question if you know it... is it possible to more easily make it to Maz from Guadalajara or elsewhere?

To explain my situation a bit... I want to fly into a city surrounding Maz and bus it in. So, you may have other suggestions altogether.
