Did you book with a tour company? If so, they will have a bus waiting for you at the airport and they will take you directly to your hotel. Other than that you will probably have to take a cab.

A taxi from the airport to the Canto will more likely be closer to $20US then $10. The taxi booth at the airport will accept US$.
In my opinion it is not worth to drag my luggage across the bridge to get a taxi and maybe save 5 bucks but then again that is just me.
On your return to the airport the fare will be alot less, not sure but I think it would be around $6US (60 Pesos).
