PV to Sayulita... best method of travel?

What is the best way to get to Sayulita from PV (and back)? Bus? How much?

We did it twice last month on the bus. The easy way to go and only $2.00 each way. Let them do the driving and enjoy the view. Not a bad trip on the bus. One time going up we went almost to Punta Mita and then went north. The road to Punta Mita is not to good now that they have torn it up. I would take the bus again in a minute. Nora from MO

We stayed at the Palladium resort. It is about 20 minutes further up the coast past Bucerias. To get downtown from the resort you walk out to the road, ( 5 minute walk ).vvThe buses go by every 5 minutes. There is alot of construction at the road by the resort. After that it is fairly smooth sailing ( almost ). The bus passes thru Bucerias. Get off the bus as it turns around at the Sheraton. You can walk downtown from there. It takes about 50 minutes in total to get downtowm. To go back to the resort, you can catch the bus in front of the Walmart. The bus you want is the Punta Mita bus. These buses are always alot of fun and everyone should try them at least once a trip. 15 pesos each.

I think you want the Sayulita bus. They run about every 30 minutes from in front of Walmarts. Tell them where yoiu want to go and they will get you on the right bus. The cost is about $2. each way. Some of the buses go toward Punta de Mita and then go north to Sayulita and sometimes they go up 200 highway to get there. I have gone both ways last year but get the Sayulita bus.
