shopping carts?

Newbie to PV! We will be staying at the Sheraton Buganvilias from 1/27-2/3, I read somewhere that there is a grocery store withing walking distance. We drink alot of bottled water and I want to buy a few cases while we are there. Can we put our groceries in a shopping cart and walk it back to hotel with us and return the cart or do we have to take a taxi or bus back to hotel? Thanks for any help/ suggestions .... Holly

Alot of people will tip the kids that bag your groceries a little extra to walk with them to the resort and then they take the cart back for you. It is worth the few extra pesos not to have to take it back yourself.
