Taxi Cost from Airport to Vallarta Palace

Tom and I stayed there when it was the Hotel Sierra and $10 per person sounds very reasonable because you are a good 1/2 hour from the airport. The beaches out in Nuevo Vallarta are great but if you go into town much, that gets expensive and time consuming. I did the bus once going into town and back out. Going into town took about an hour but coming back took like 2 1/2 hours but that was several years ago so hopefully, it has gotten better. Tom thought that Maureen the lady from Nova Scotia I was with and myself had gotten on the blue bus to Juarez because it took us forever to get back. It was quite an experience to say the least and one I will remember. Ha! Ha! :lol:

Taxi from the airport to Nuevo Vallarta is about $20. The taxi back is around $14. They charge a government tax for all transportation out of the airport. The ride now takes only about 15 minutes by taxi, maybe 20-25 by bus depending on the number of times the bus stops. They now have a new super highway (Mexico style) with overpasses even,:lol: all the way past Nuevo Vallarta. lojol60 you and Tom need to get out of Andales a little more and take a ride up-nort again :wink: that is if Tom can get time of from his part time PR job at the you know where. :twisted: :lol: :lol:
