Taxi Fare

If we pre-booked our taxi what should we be tipping the driver?? Going to the San Marino.

xcop, from malecon to light house bar marina vallarta 80 pesos should be about the same from riu to marina give or take a few. remember the cab group number and car number just in case theres a discrepency of any kind...cheers. :D

if my cab driver makes any extra stops for me, then i always tip, and
sometimes he also raises the price, understandably so.

If we pre-booked our taxi what should we be tipping the driver?? Going to the San Marino. are you talking from the airport to your resort? now we will tip them when the take us from the airport to our resort for handling the baggage, assisting us, etc... and if we get a taxi and work out a deal that he stays with us while we shop, or make several stops, then yes we get a locked in rate for an extended period of time, and then tip at the end when we get everything out of the trunk of his vehicle and it is all accounted for... HA HA HA
