We just returned from PV and had a 7:00 am flight. UGLY. But we walked out of the condo (near Playa Los Muertos) at abouyt 5:30 am and were lucky enough to fiond a taxi dropping someone off at one of the beachfront hotels. It was about 20 minutes to the airport. There were LOTS of folks that came into the line at the airport after us.

I would think that you could catch a cab pretty easily. Our cabbie passed several clubs that had people coming out of them at 5:30 am
