Taxis over the bridge

My brother owns a house in old PV, to the north. When we arrive in PV we usually go out the doors to the left (where the buses are parked), walk over the bridge and catch a taxi there. Very uncomplicated and cheaper. However, we have always arrived during the day. We are headed to PV soon and will arrive there at 9:30pm. Does anyone know if you can catch a taxi \"over the bridge\" at that time of night?

Thanks Ellen. I just reread my message and realized I put north, but we go south from the airport into old town. Anyone else ever caught a taxi over the bridge at night?
