Travel from airport to romantic zone rates?

I tried but could not find any site with specific info for 2008. If I understand correctly a cab right from the airport is $25, if you cross the bridge it is around $l5. The bus is a bargain at 5 pesos but there is no place for luggage. Then the guide books talk about collectivo vans without info on cost or how to get to the south side of the river. I assume this all has been answered somewhere but could someone comment on whether the above is right or wrong? We arrive in November and it is hard to wait.

This question should be in the transportation section where I now see it has been answered 20 times. It is still unclear why not take a collectivo van to the zona romantica for $7 per person? :oops:
