Mark this one under \"lesson learned\"

Last Monday Sept 3, 2001 My friend and I had dinner at Los Toritos, across the street from \"Senor Frogs\". At the completion of the \"marginal\" meal I was presented with a check. It was around $40 US. I placed my money on the table. While my friend sat at the table I went to the restroom, I came back, My money was gone and a new check was on the table. My friend, whom I trust with my life, said that one of the waiters had picked it up. I complained quite vigourously that they had taken my money. I wound up paying for the meal twice!!!! Yeah stupid me for trusting them.

Restaurant \"Brasil\" just down the street from Senor Frogs (toward the bay) has much better food and service, at a better price!!! No menu, they just start bringing you food on swords!!!!

Re:AVOID LOS TORITOS RESTAURANT
I am a bit curious about what your friend was doing when someone came and took the money. You said he was sitting at the table. Did he not see when the money was picked up and by whom? My husband and I routinely eat out in P.V. and I also head to the bathroom just as he is waiting for the waiter to come and pick up the cheque and payment. I could understand this happening if no one was at the table but not with someone sitting there.
