Cafe Frankfurt

Started March 31, 2004 · 8,761 views · 10 posts
Down in PV now for the past three weeks and just again at the Cafe Frankfurt and Michael just put in the summer menu which wich to us is one of the greatest values in PV. I have not seen any postings of late on this place and a super nice garden setting and quiet and we think almost the greatest value for a meal in PV. For a 115 pesos, any item on the menu, and this includes soup or salad, (fantastic Hungarian goulash soup), choice of entree, the mixed grill is great and includes a breast of chicken, bratwurst, a large smoked pork chop, and a large piece of schnitzel. Add in dumplings, red cabbage, saurkraut, spatzel, and then orange cake with real whipped cream and coffee and an added bonus of coffee schnapps, all for 115 pesos, it doesn´t get any better than this.

Having been coming to PV for over 40 years now, and this place is in our top five. Give it a try and it would be fun to see what feedback there is.

Regards, Maplelag Jim from Minnesota

We also ate at Langostinos, The Ribs, Shrimp and Lobster was the best meal the 8 of us had during our 10 day trip to PV. My only regret was that we did not find this place sooner.

Langostinos is on the beach, the second restaurant north of Francisco Rodriguez and the pier, next door to Cuates y Cuetes.
