We went to the Casa de Hot Cakes this past weekend and I have to say we were not bowled over by the food or the service. We were two people and we asked for a table by the window. They told us that they only had seating for 6 persons. 5 minutes later, they sat a party of 3 there. The pancake was nice and fluffy but the waffle was icky - cold and rubbery. Would I recommend it? Not really. There are so many other places that serve a fine breakfast.
