help us newbies

we are travelling to pv for the first time and have heard different things about eating the food from there? some ppl sed not to at all eat anything except from the hotel. others sed nott o worry! i dotn knwo what to do?! the resteraunts sound so good!!! what about drinks? are they safe or should we only eat our hotels we have ai acsess to canto del sol and are staying at the villas vallarta!!! or am i just being silly?

hey thanks for all the tips! lol i should just write it down!!! lol..... sounds like lots of good eats to be had and i love limes in my beers so i will be using plenty of them!!! you guys are all so nice here....

Jennybean has the right idea too... moderation... and yes that is important to drink water between cocktails... that is what we do as well... also i drink cervesa con acetunas (beer with olives) the salt helps retain water.. it also gives me something to snack on at the bottom of each beer... the big draw back is my fingers swell up so badly... that sucks... lol... but you just have to pace yourself and have a great time on your vacation... also fake baking is a good option too... and if you see the Sun Busters down there... get one or two of packages from them... they really do a wonderful job

well lets find time to hook up down in PV... and we will visit on our second home... like we said we have been coming down for 12 yrs... and this will be our 8th time to GCP.... so we have a lot of resources at our disposal too....
