Hurricane Wilma displaced newbie to PV....need info

you can get just about anything and everything you want along the Malecon. There are some great little ice cream shops along there as well... almost like a baskin robbins, and the vendors on the streets with their fruits, pies, cakes, totillas, etc... there are lots of great resturants in Puerto Vallarta as well... check them out on this website. Mogens has an excellent poll going on right now abou that very subject.

We been to the Eight Tostatos many times. It is great. Especially the shrimp soup and all the variations of shrimp, marlin, mmmmmmmm makes me hungry just thinking about it. The one we went to was close to the English-American School where our friends niece and daughter attended school. I am sure his son is now going there too. Great school too...
