Re:Japanese or Thai food in the PV area?

My next door neighbor in PV owns the Akira Japanese Restaurant that Brenda mentioned. I have eaten there a few times and found it to be very good. The head chef is from Japan, of course, and almost everyone there (including the head chef) speaks English as well as Spanish. The restaurant is on the southside of downtown, on Basillo Badillo street at the intersection with Insurgentes. It is in the same shopping center as the southside Blockbuster Video. (PV actually has another Blockbuster Video, farther north, near the Hotel Zone).
