Le Kliff Restaurant

I was at Le Kliff just a few days ago and took a bunch of first-timers with me. I think they were glad they hadn´t planned to eat there once they saw the prices on the menu, but they were very happy to be there for the incredible view. The sunset that night was fantastic and the $120 peso margaritas were very refreshing and tasty. My husband refuses to go anymore because he thinks the food is overrated and overpriced. I don´t totally agree as I have had some good meals there, nicely prepared and presented but you are definitely paying for the location and ambiance. I hope that helps.

I forgot to answer the part about the location. If you are taking a bus you pick it up on Basilio Badillo a couple of blocks east of the main drag, for 4.5 pesos a person. These buses only go as far as Boca de Tomatlan before turning around again and Le Kliff is the 2nd to last stop. Taking a cab is, I suppose, easier, but much more costly and on the bus you can see so much more because you are up so high, which means you get to see the coast and the water and some beautiful sights you miss when taking a taxi.
