Barcelona Tapas would be my pick. Food is excellent, view is tremendous. Get a reservation for a sunset dinner, nothing more romantic in the world.

And order the sizzling garlic shrimp tapas! mmmm...my mouth is watering just thinking about it...

hi, depending on how much you want to spend, we were there for valentimes dinner the most romantic place in pv in the old part by the river its called the Bistro very elegant with trees as a canopy just beautiful , the wines is expensive 30. us bottle , the food was not to bad priced , but very very good. if you want romantica and more alone by the beaches at night you can get a candlelight table right by the ocean and there food is also great and much more reasonably priced, and they have live bands playing. there are numurous good restaurants on the malecon(boardwalk) but not so romantic because of all the tourist around. tables are very close together. have fun, hope i could help a bit.

Like Tom and Lorrie, we stay at the GPC (AI) and always manage to eat several time off site of the resort. There are so many great restruants in PV and we already have several to try this June when we get there.
I borrowed this posting from \"bzy1inpv\" because this is a must this nex time:
\"Up the Rio Cuale is a little colonia called Paso Ancho. In Paso Ancho is a river-side restaurant called La Huerta.
Every Sunday they have Mongolian Stir-Fry and Mariachi music. The Mariachi band also has a woman violinist who has an amazing vioce! The music is from 2:30 to 3:30. So get here about 1:00- 1:30 for a great table.
The Mongolian stir fry is 75 pesos, you get a bowl and you fill it up with your choice of veggies, chicken or beef and sauces and they fry it up on a giant Mongolian wok and serve it to you at your table. They have excellent drinks, beer, margaritas and piña coladas, and after you can go horseback riding up the river for 100 pesos per hour.

To get here, take a taxi to La Huerta in Paso Ancho, or take the smaller white PA (Paso Ancho bus) which you can catch on Lazaro Cardenas and Aguacate in the Emiliano Zapata colonia (Behind the big Farmacia Guadalajara on Insurgentes.) Tell the driver La Huerta, it is about three or four blocks after the second bridge...on the left.\" Thanks, bzy1
