Paradise Village restaurants

How are the restaurants at Paradise? WHich ones are the best>
I heard that restaurants in town (Puerto Vallarta) are better, if so, how much is the cab fare and how long a ride is it????

In Nuevo Vallarta, La Laguna is well worth the short taxi ride for great seafood.
