restaurant for 24 people

Hi!

We have a group of 24 people that will be arriving by Carnival Cruiseship on the 24th of March. Although everyone is not doing the same activities during the day, we would like to all have dinner together that night in PV. Can anyone please recommend a restaurant that is fun with good food and beverages. preferable one that takes reservations for large groups and that is in walking distance to the ship. I have been to Mexico (not PV, but Cancun, Cabo etc, ) many times so I have seen Senor Frogs, Carlos and Charlies etc many times however this could be most of the groups first time. Are any of these restaurants down where the cruise docks? Is there anything where the cruise docks in walking distance as far as shopping restaurants? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing much by cruise ship terminal. Only an expensive steak house, Bogarts, 4 blocks south. Just get in cabs or share vans. It is only 35 pesos or so to town and 5 min. ride. Any of the malecon restaurants can take that size group easily. And as you said, some may be coming from different directions, so may be best to set a place and time to meet downtown. As for recommendations, look on this board, there are many to suggest. If first timers, should choose malecon or Muertos Beach locations so they can take in the crowds and activities. Been on3 cruises that stop at PV 3 and always left port before dinner. Never heard of a ship being there for dinner in port.
