Re:SICK
Dear Nick do not worry about this issue, just take everything on the safe side, as everyone said, drink bottled water, and the pepto, may help.

Re:SICK
i find having to leave puerto vallarta makes me sick.
Re:SICK
and that can only be cured by staying...
Re:SICK
I agree, every time I leave PV I am plotting to get back as soon as possible. I have been there four times and am going again in Dec for Navidad. PV is wonderful and I consider it my home away from home too!!
Re:SICK
I have been to Party Vallarty 7 times and going for my 8th in October! All of the advice from the other posters are correct! But, here is a list of my favorite restaurants:

1. Le Bistro-Yummy Italian! Even in Mexico!
2. El Set-Yes this is Mexican....The food is good and more importantly safe, but the view is outrageous!
3. Sunday Brunch at the Sheraton Buganvillas!

My advice is to be cautious with the cheese and the fried foods....But, use caution and eat, drink, and be merry!
Re:SICK
glad to see Im not the only one who crys when they have to leave PV. Been going down for 15 years and have shed tears every time the plane takes off.
Re:SICK
In my opinion is easy to get sick in a all-inclusive hotel that in a European Plan hotel, I am going to explain my point of view.

In a All-Inclusive Hotel the guest drink alcohol in huge amounts, that made your body sick very easy.

My recommendation is be in the safe side an drink a lot of bottled water.

Vallarta have very good places to eat, and for every budget.
Re:SICK
We got back from a trip to PV a month ago. We were advised to take acidophillis (SP??) and we did. We actuall bought a thing from a health food place called \"Vitabiotics\" which included acidophillis and \"soil based organisms\". Sounds grotty, but we ate everything - tons of fruit too - even though we were warned not to eat melon. We were fine, and had a lovely time!!

ps the acidophillis should be the kind that does not need refrigeration.
