My husband and I have put a deposit on an apartment for a month in down town Puerto Vallarta on Cuauhtemoc street. Can anyone give us information on this street, actual location, is it a decent area, is it within walking distance of the main centre etc. Also are there any precautions we should take in booking apartments from individuals online. We have talked to the owner by phone and have received written confirmation on the accomodation. Any information would be appreciated.

Go to the top of this forum and you will see a blue tab labelled Map click on it. Zoom in until you get el centro and the south side up. You will find the street on the el centro side of the river up a ways from the Encino hotel. The street runs parallel with the river.
