mexican wrestling mask?

I need to find wrestling mask, you know the kind that the pro wrestlers use. I know this is kind of a weird item to look for on vacation,but I need authentic mexican mask. Any ideas would be super!!

My guess would be just like professional wrestlers in the US and Canada, Mexican grapplers have their costumes (including masks) custom made. I have never seen them sold anywhere in Vallarta myself.

Maybe Guadalajara?

Go to 180 bar and restaurant on Basilio Badillo and ask for Ruben. His father used to be a pretty famous wrestler here in Mexico, so he could tell you possibly where to buy one.

Just yesterday we were driving back home from buying baby things (for our upcoming baby) in the cheap part of town and I drove by a Wrestling venue... old-fashion posters announcing the fight between Nazi Juan and Killer Pablo or something like that... quite picturesque if you ask me. Maybe we should establish a new tour, GDL Wrestling Tour, people can come up on the ring and get their faces, necks or backs reshaped... well, thinking about it, maybe not!

great idea mogens. we can get some of the people on our b.b. to come down to mexico for an over the top rope battle royal into banderas bay. we already have our nicknames. there is chuck, crisxcross, charlie b, bzy 1, we even have a jenny bean, then there is the big daddy, and matt, even a dave the mooch. of course we need a really bad dude. how about canada-edmonton. mogens, you will have to be the referee. i think i will also take part in the festivities. lots of fun. m.m.

Cute little shop with lots of art from all over Mexico, including the masks from Mexico City. They just got some in, had about 20-30 differnt styles, some have a shoestring tie in back some have a zipper, they are about 80 pesos each, I had to buy a few - they are really cool - fit adult heads too!
